I think i'm in love, RS6 love

If you're gonna spend 80k to have a car with a gallardo engine, id rather have a gallardo myself.

Exactly. Get a decent Gallardo for £65k and buy a family car with the rest of it to ferry the wife and kids around.

You would have much fun in the Gallardo.

I could get a hyabusa for 8k and it would be quicker than the RS6. Your point being what? Comparing apples and oranges.

I reckon if I was completely loaded, the RS6 Avant would be my daily runaround lol. Estate car practicality, sleeper looks, ridiculous power. Sounds good for the gentleman aound town lol.

No im not, I could have a track/fun car and an estate fun car that probably pulls just as well for the same cash. May need to be 2nd hand, but there we go.

I have nothing against the car, suits my needs down to the ground but the price seems complete unrealistic when you think about it.

A better comparison would be the E63, as the C class is a much smaller car. more like the RS4. The E63 is about 70k ish.

who actually needs the space in a BMW 5 / Merc E / Audi 6 class car over the 3 series / C class / Audi A4

the boots on the 3 series / audi A4 series are more than enough. Its like the debate over MPVs, who actually uses that extra space ?

Not saying the price isnt complete madness, but comparing it to an atom is just apples and oranges. hence me comparing it to a motorbike, again apples and oranges.

Never seen the saloon but I see an Avant sometimes in the morning, most of it looks pretty subtle until I see the wheels and the huge brakes. I like the looks of it but yeah it is pretty bland and not dissimilar to the S line enough to make it stand out much.

The extra space makes the car far more pleasant on longer trips.

Is that the only improvement the bigger cars in the range have, more space? I was under the impression they were more luxurious and had a better ride.

If you can manage without the turbos, the previous model suffers from quite a bit of depreciation, you can get a 56 plate for around £25k, which is pretty good if your after that lambo engine.
