I'm not that familiar with CSS to be honest. I only really know the basics as the CSS server ran on our hardware is ran by someone else (one of the old fragM admins).

Not sure of the O/S. But as I said I have FTP access and a webpage interface where I can edit the MOTD.CFG and Server.CFG and setup mods, etc.

Don't know if it's worth just getting a copy of the server configs and banner and just overwriting our current one and modifying it slightly for his needs?

I presume this server won't be part of the OcUK steam group then? Drop me an email anyhow and I'll try and get some info to you :) Can't promise to get it before I get home though, sorry.

Sorry, I was talking about Left 4 Dead. CSS is only really an option on the same box if it didn't cost too much. What do you set your l4d server's tickrate to?

Bah, don't think ill be able to go ahead with a Left4Dead server. The place where i was going to install it, only has a 10mb/s dedicated line between 30 servers :(

Cool. I've got your email but unfortunately I have a meeting now that may last up to 3 hours. Le suck :/ If I get out of it early then I'll get it sorted before I head home :)

Ah, sorry. I have just left it at default. I'm not sure what that is for Left4Dead anymore :S
 
Just got 18.23 in the terminal.

Something wasn't right though, tanks seemed to ramp up to 2 at a time. But after we survived the 2 tanks there wasn't any tanks for a good 5 minutes.

Wouldn't worry about the time / competitive side of it - it doesn't work at all, sometimes you're getting bogged down by tanks / specials at the 10 minute marked others you coast to the 15 minute mark... I hope it is a bug and not designed to be like that though otherwise any time comparison won't work :(
