I think any discussion on 'special' information regarding the game's release should automatically be referred back to the official website:

The release date of this game is "When it's done". Anything else, and we mean anything else is someone's speculation. There is no date. We don't know any date. If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall who claims they know - they do not. They are making it up. There is no date. Period.

Well, you'd hope if it ever does get released it'd look a bit better!

If I remember correctly when DN:3D came out it wasn't exactly cutting edge, but it was fun.

I'd like to think this game will come out some day, but I'm not going to be worrying too much about it either way.

I played DN 3D the other day.. loved every minute still Fantastic game. So updated graphics, some HD **** and ass and ill be happy

The new engine in my opinion looks worse than the old one.

If that was released back in the day when it was supposed to looking like that it probably would've been one of the best games ever made.

All this chopping and changing they've done, I have a feeling will have made it much worse.

The pointer and gun are separate, the label is to show that the pointer can be dangerous just by itself.

Doubt that. People actually like 3D Realms, whereas John Romero was a complete tool.

Besides, most of this games hype has been built up via the community. I don't think 3D Realms have made any outlandish claims such as "We will make you our bitch".

Although the sticker makes me think that there is some comedy blinding trick if you can point it in their eyes.

Its in dangerous territory tbh. People have waited soooo long for it, they won't be able to control the hype surrounding its eventual release so everyone will (quite rightly) be expecting something amazing. Very rarely do these games deliver however. I'm bracing myself for major disappointment..... and I'm usually an optimist !
