The Apprentice - 2009

I reckon Nooral will become awesome in the later tasks, like perform some entreprenurial miracles out of nowhere. I can see the fire in his eyes. :D

Especially compared to the Treasure Flakes box, completely blew it out of the water.

Won out in the end, the stupid American woman should have brought nurofen in with her though, he'd have got fired straight away, sir Alan is blatantly itching to get rid of him.

I'm starting to watch it now. :) :)

I hope its Noruul thats gone this week.

Watched the two latest eps tonight, gotta say that Nooral had a lucky escape there, he clearly looked out of his depth as PM.

Ben, he seems like a right willy to me, very arrogant and seems to like the sound of his voice too much. He comes across as one of those reasonably intelligent people from a good family background who has just strolled into a city job without having done much in the way of proper graft. I'm sure there's things he's good at but I certainly wouldn't want to work with him. I wonder if he'll end up doing an Alex and pull the "but I'm really young!!!!" card.

James, I don't know, he seems like a nice guy but at times seems a bit 'simple', a bit like a rabbit caught in the headlights and could probably end up get shafted by the shrewder candidates.

Debra, big mouth but seems good at selling and could be SAS cup of tea.

Lorraine, seems to be picking too many fights early on. She may have a point at times but doesn't put it across without others.

Mona: Potential dark horse, need to see more really.

Howard just seems a little.... slimy to me, he doesn't inspire confidence and I can't see him going all the way

Phillip seems pretty sound, although in the last ep he was a bit overbearing. Supposedly he's knobbing Kate so I guess they will stay around a few weeks yet. She certainly seems a candiate so far.

I thought that Debra was a total bunny-boiler when she went up against Mona, first episode I think, but she's shown some ability recently. Maybe a bit of a control-freak, but she did that presentation well tonight. Coming in with their sea-shanty set the tone nicely.

The green box was a disaster, but their ad was very good I thought. Surprised to hear nothing about budgets this week.

Nooral is a waste of time, imo, all talk and nothing to back it up. Ben, still a complete "see you next tuesday", but maybe he has some game in him after all.

Surprised to see Philip so headstrong this week, tho his "romantic" comment in the boardroom was golden. Maybe a few of them are starting to think they're really in it now.

Next few weeks should be good. I'm betting on eye-candy, debra, and philip or ben getting to the last three. Maybe Yasmine has a chance also. I used to think the guy who ran the pubs was in for it, but he doesn't seem to contribute much. Does this show favour women? Seems like it this year.

Next week should be good. Pick a load of tosh, evaluate it, and make a profit. Lots of opportunity to go wrong there. Nooral or Lorraine for next to leave, I think.

I don't think the series is as good as it was for the first couple of years, but treat it mainly as comedy and its hard to stay away from.

...
I also liked the parrot one but pants man deserves his own comedy show

Pants Man???? Hard to believe that Philip thought that was a good idea, even made up his own song!11!!1! Staying Alive by the Bee Gees should've been playing.

Don't get me started on snot-green boxes with a single facing! I thought Ms. NY had a hope - but she picked the wrong people to go into the room.

I don’t think Nooral said 1 word the entire episode until they were in the boardroom. He needs to go IMO.

Treasure Flakes was a good idea and although the advert could have been directed a lot better. Their box was good, not too sure on the deep purple colour but they made up for it with the game on the back. Also for the presentation she shouldn't have been reading from a book, come on that’s a presentation 101 error.

As for the green Pantsman box, reminds me of something i would have done my 1st year of Uni 10 minutes before the project was due, total ****. For professionals of their 'standard' totally unacceptable!

Moment of gold from the episode has to be the end of the Pantsman advert where he points at the camera, comedy gold!
