If anyone else doesn't like the lighthouse menu background then you can re-instate the original.

In your left 4 dead/media folder, the original is called l4d_background.bik.

The new one is called l4d_lighthouse_bg01.bik.

Make a copy of both (for backup) and rename the original to l4d_lighthouse_bg01.bik

has anyone noticed the game has REALLY gone to **** since they brought survival out? There are absolutely NO servers available for versus, and tbh, vs is far better :/

Calm down :/ The update has only been out for barely a day, people are just keen to try out the new modes. It will settle :]

Anyone else had massive problems playing today ?

All I wanted was to play a few games with 3 mates, I could not get ANY empty dedi server even after 30 minutes of searching, ended up hosting locally but my isp screwed me and it was laggy for the others. Hope it clears up tomorrow or the day after, really looking forward for some games but it seemed the servers were getting hammered worse than any other time I've seen.
