So he's back, the new game is finally released over here on friday the 24th and includes the superb Escape from Butcher Bay- redone with High-Res gfx !!

okay, so theres been problems with piracy/activations with limits on installs but in truth theres unlimited install activations if you read the small print..

also hope they have implemented some decent multiplayer options in the guards v prisoners ..

Just got mine. Installed and started on Butcher bay. It is as ace as I remember :).

I will look forward to the comparison screenies. There is one on the back of the box and it does look a lot different. But then the original was shiny so there won't be that much between them imo.

Great game though :D

Aaaaaagh damn ........ I just knew that there was something I had to do this week and that was order this. If I order online now there is a chance I will not get it tomorrow. Is it available on STEAM (I'm at work so can't check)

Just had a look and it doesn't look like it. It is on D2D but at $49.95 (£34.00 ) I think a trip to the shops tomorrow for you is in order.

Hmmm, forgot this was out tomorrow - the main question is IS IT ANY GOOD and will I be a disappointed like I have been with all my past few months purchases (Dawn of War 2, FEAR 2, CoD:WaW)?

Unlimited installs on 3 machines only, but if you upgrade cpu, motherboard, memory, graphics, reformat or change the OS on any of those three machines, then that'll count as an install. Whichever way you look at it, it's inevitable that you're going to be left with a game that'll refuse to install after it's been activated three times. I was looking forward to it as well but there's no chance I'll be shelling out £30 for what's basically a rental.

To those who say they're only going to install it once anyway, that's great stuff, if that's the case, do you mind giving it to me when you're finished with it (I'll pay postage of course). Thought not. :p

Don't they always eventually offer a revoke tool? There was one for Bioshock I think, and I'm pretty sure even EA did one for a lot of theirs.

Tempted to get this myself esp as I missed out on Butcher Bay but hear it's rather....average.

If someone can post their thoughts on the game when they have it would appreciate it :)

the butcher bay part is way better than average trust me:D
I dont know about the other part of the game, but butcher bay alone is a game by itself and is really good.

i think they added patch for butcher bay with high textures and etc
thats why people think dark athena and butcher bay looks the same

Butcher Bay is one of the most underated games I've ever played - it kept me hooked all the way through (I only played it around 6 months ago) and the thought of having it updated is great!

Definately one I really want to own but not sure on the activation yet.
