Just watched the penultimate episode tonight and I have to say I was shocked by what happened. I really wasn't expecting that at all.

*Spoiler Alert*

Especially since I'd just read something recently about Derek being in season 3 (apparently there might be another season coming, but its still up in the air), that's what really threw me.

*End Spoiler*

I know there has been talk of cancellation and Virgin aren't helping by saying things like "the final episode of the Sarah Connor Chronicles is next week" rather than the end of season finale/episode. But after the past few episode's and tonight's especially, it looks like they are finally moving forward with a decent storyline. I can't wait for next week to see what happens.

I really hope this doesn't get cancelled because its beginning to look really interesting. More action and a gripping storyline, its been desperate for it for some time. If there had been a bit more of this scattered about the episodes it wouldn't be in trouble. Come on Fox, do the right thing, keep this show on the box !

Yeah, it had the whole 'Lisa Faulkner in the first season of Spooks' mojo going on. Very sudden and unexpected.

It went off the rails for a good 7 episodes or so then the season finale was actually pretty good.

Not sure if I want it back for a third season, some of the episodes in season 2 were awful!! Sarah is extremely irritating.

Summer Glau...... enough said :D

The finale is pretty amazing though, brings up a close to the story line quite nicely I might add.

It's not difficult to bring people back after they die when the series includes time travel. It may not be the same version of the character, but it is still played by the same actor.
It is like Lost, characters that died several series ago get brought back for a flashback, or in a different time.

To be honest, I have got bored of the series, so if it gets canned, it won't be much of a loss to me.

nope its closed john connor becomes leader of teh rebels , sends darth vader back in time to look after his mum and the films carry on from there.

"Most of us were rounded up. Put in camps for orderly disposal. This was burned in by laser scanner. Some of us were kept alive. To work. Loading bodies. The disposal units ran night and day. We were that close to going out for ever. But there was one man who taught us to fight. To storm the wire of the camps. To smash those metal [expletive deleted] into junk. He turned it around. He brought us back from the brink. His name was Connor. John Connor. Your son, Sarah. Your unborn son."

Suggests he travelled from the past to the future and wasn't there for Judgement Day.

The last few episodes were fantastic.

When the writer bloke got his act together and stopped doing random episodes which continued all over the place, it turned out to be a fantastic program.

If this guy can sell season 3 to continue as it were then there's a good chance of us actually getting it.

Spoiler:

Can't believe the T1000 was actually good! Or is she?

Just watched the last episode from Graboid.

They've certainly left it in a position that could be the end. But because they've rushed it on the premise they could be getting canned it leaves a lot of holes and questions.

Its a shame that the T3 film (which was pretty abysmal anyway) does not fit in with what could be the end of the SCC.

The less that's said about T3 the better IMO :p

I want to know more about John Henry.. I hope they do a third season, if not to see how he develops, and what happens between him and his "brother"

According to BAG and Josh Friedman the season finale was wrote as just that, a season finale, not a series finale. He did try to tie up a lot of the questions from season 2 but he in no way wrote that as an ending, he said fans will be ****ed off if the show is cancelled but they would be ****ed off anyway.

We really need a season 3 to find out exactly what happened to Cameron. But its not looking very likely at the moment. The ratings were very poor, even the season finale. We were getting beat by wife swap :(. Fox moved the show to friday to die and succeeded. The only chance we could have is if Warner Bros shop the show around and find a new home, but that is also pretty unlikely. Such a shame as the show had a lot of potential. Fox ruined it by making Josh put Riley into the show and the crazy Sarah episodes IMO.

Also I don't think John belonged in the time line he went to at the end. I think he will maybe learn about who Cameron was before she became a Terminator, get Cameron back and possibly learn about reprogramming Terminators and time travel by John Henry. Then i think he would go back to before judgement day to join Sarah. Cameron is by far the fans favourite character and she will be back without a doubt. Josh said he would like to revisit the Allison character as he thought she was interesting, so i think we will see a few eps with Allison before Cam is back.
