Chinas space walks faked

Do you have a lot of experience watching flags in micro g? :D

No. I have studied physics and astrophysics for 6 years and I cant see how that's possible in space, its a fluid motion. But I could be wrong, I'm no expert. That's just my opinion.

Since when was space zero mavity? Whoever made the video is lacking basic understanding of how earth orbits work, it's the earths mavity that keeps the spacecraft orbiting it.

Also note everything tries to float upwards....

Things don't do that in space, they just float "off" in the direction they are nudged..

Actually you can see from the equation g = -G(M/r^2) that during a normal orbit the earths gravitational force is almost as powerful as it is on the ground, objects will be attracted towards the earth.

The slower half of the rising bubble could have been a reflection of the fast debris in his visor.

The flag still has inertia.

And clouds don't move that fast, but the ship does go round the earth fast.

How exactly does them moving at speed in anyway have a bearing on the speed that the clouds in Earth's armosphere are moving at? I'm guessing you've never seen footage of the Earth from the ISS or a Shuttle mission, both of which are travelling well in excess of the 10,000mph you mentioned.

The video claims the clouds are moving fast, but it's the capsule that's moving fast, check out the video at 3:02 and you can see the clouds 'moving fast' on someone elses spacewalk (looks like a Soyuz?).

As for the flag, it does inded look strange, but it doesn't look like it's being pushed around by flowing water, surely their tethers would be doing the same if that was the case? The flag US flag on the moon was a favourite for conspricy theorists too!

What the hell's a wave blower anyway?

I've watched it several times now and I'm not sure, the flag could have been moved by the Astronaut, it does raise some eyebrows, but it might have a good explanation, as for the lights :S how do you explain that?

Have you been reading anyone else's replies? there have been a couple of links now that demolish this nonsense. Bibalasvegas posted a pretty solid one a few up, as I'm yet to see any of the fruitcakes in this thread break it down and explain why it's wrong I can only go with -- team-sense 5 : team-lizardmen 0

the flag moved nothing like being in water - i don't know what people are smoking these days but there is no evidence here - in fact the only evidence here is that the internet is full of morons.

I will reply to this thread later explaining each point the video showed was a load of mongering lies as well as the fact many people in this thread have no clue what they are talking about.
But firstly I'd like to know how the managed to get light/shadow so finely unrefracted in "moving" water.

OMG how strange i'll give my mate a call in a sec, i said that it looked "fake and wierd" when i saw it on TV a while ago! Didn't notice the bubbles but i did say how crystal clear the image and sound was!

I admit I never bothered, now I have, I admit I might be wrong. No need to call us 'fruitcakes' I said it 'raises some eyebrows'.

I thought this might have been a repost but I can't find the original so maybe it was posted somewhere else.

Watch the rope at 7:00mins in. Its positively buoyant
So very wrong. firstly, it's microgravity not zero mavity, and secondly all objects have gravitational force - but you don't notice because it's quite a weak force (unless you have something of sufficient mass - like our planet).

Originally I joined the bandwagon and thought fake, but I'm not so sure.

And what is it with flags? Flag on the moon didn't 'behave right'. Must be fake. Chinese flag doesn't 'behave right' either. Must be fake too. Until an eminent scientist defines what 'right' is, I'm inclined to ignore all of these statements.

I was JUST about to post exactly the same thing! :)

but i did say how crystal clear the image and sound was!

yeah cause if you're going to film your countries first space walk you're going to use a low quality web cam to film it. not like you're going to take a full HD camera or anything extravagant like that.

Why shoudn't it be crystal clear? The chinese simply decided to use decent cameras and devoted more bandwidth. Its not as if theres something in space limiting picture quality.

As far as I can tell everything can be explained.
