New desk

well i got my new desk, narrower but still normal length, seems a nice fit, chair won't go right under, need one with lower arms, any one any ideas for new chairs? I will post pics when i have a pc to go with the desk, just using lappie atm. :)
 
First off, apologies for posting in an old thread, but I have a question for diverse180 about the desk as I am looking at getting one myself. Is that the birch or the oak veneer version and can you put the draw units either side of the desk? Also, is it very sturdy?

IKEA stuff is usually pretty good quality, but a pain in the arse to assemble, especially if you do it in the evening after a few red wines.

Diverse, Nice set up! The Jonas desk might be what i am after too. I have been looking for a replacement desk for a while.

Could i ask a favour before i travel 40 odd miles to my nearest Ikea.

What are the internal dimensions of the cupboard?

Ideally i would like to stow my tower away in there,( I hate cable mess) but i very much doubt it will fit without some modification, such as making the draw/cupboard one compartment

I just got a new desk, its 1.8m long and office style as i don't need the draws from a website called Office Supermarket. Its a really nice desk and about the same size as a single bed!!
