I'm getting married this Friday!!!

Well gents...

Been with my wife to be for 11 years this August and have to boys Ethan (3 years old) and Ellis (2 years old)....

Getting married this Friday (1st of May)....

Have my speech all sorted, nothing too long just what I need to say as per tradition and a few words about my dad who passed away 3 years ago (seems like only yesterday).....

Bit nervous about my speech but looking forward to it all the same...

Just hoping I pull the speech off ok...... My twin brother is my best man... so no doubt he will rip me

Youd be surprised what a piece of paper means. My friend had to apply for custody of his OWN children after his wife died because they weren't married. There are all kinds of benefits after a bereavement that you aren't entitled to unless you were married.

No it doesn't my to boys mean everything to me.....but I hate referring to her as my 'partner' or 'fiancé' .... thats just me... wife sounds better....

Nail on the head there Stelly!!!! They are everything to me...end of.... this will just seal it... my real dad is ex merchant navy covered in tattoo's from his travels round the world.....time he should have spent with us....
