It's the bloody flu not the T-virus, you get it, you're ill for a few days, you get better, you go back to work. The only person outside of the poverty ridden Mexico who has died of it was a visitor to the US FROM poverty stricken Mexico who was a few months old. No one else who has got it has even gone to hospital, the people with it are at home!

Do you know how many confirmed deaths there are from this disease so far? 9, 9 people worldwide confirmed to have died from it. Ignoring the child, who knows what illnesses or diseases they had, how they lived and under what conditions, how old they were?

It certainly doesn't cause some sort of zombie apocalypse as you seem to be implying.
 
Yep, I'm getting quite scared of this flu virus. I mean...it's killed a whole 1 person so far ** in the civilised world, a 2 year old child in America...brought across from Mexico for treatment...

Especially as all reported British cases so far ** are recovering quite well.

In all fairness it seems like a Media sand storm covering some other form of global shenanigans going on...I dunno...just let's pick something out of the air...economic downturn maybe?

Serious question now.... if they close schools etc because of it, do they continue to pay staff or suspend pay during the closure? (my manager told me they stop pay, but surely they cant do that?)

I first heard it from a doctor! he came out of nowhere in our office and shouted it. Everyone looked serious for a second and then lol'd.
