Before I start I have to say I'm VERY impressed and pleased with BFG, especially Mr Jeff Kozlowsk who has been extremely helpful and I believe has gone out of his way to help, us, the end users.
Now, the story. I bought a BFG 128Mb PhysX card from the members market (yes I know, but I wanted to try it!), the card came as described with a broken fan (well no fan, only the metal heat sink). I thought I can either run it as is or get a third party HSF for it. However I decided not to do this as it would cost more than the card I just bought.
I contacted Jeff asking him if BFG could supply me with a replacement HSF unit for the card (I even offered to pay for it). However he suggested I just RMA the card. I told him it was second hand with essentially no fan, but he still suggested the RMA, well he said "Technically we don’t issue warranty replacements to anyone but the original owner, but this time I can make an exception". So off I sent it last Friday and now I have in front of me here a brand new card under a week after sending the other one off!
You can't get much better than that! Keep up the good work guys!
