New Sky HD EPG

Had it for a few days and I can see a lot of people saying they don't like it for the hell of it (because it's new) but it's actually not too bad.
 
I just bought a Pace TDS850NB (Sky+ HD box) and a 1TB Samsung Spinpoint.

Here's to some modding while I await the new EPG :cool:
 
Got home today and about time my box was updated to the new guide, one thing I cant find is the volume settings?

I ask because I swear the thing is quieter than before :confused:

The option has been removed, the box will now output at the standard level.
 
yeap, it definately quieter! My AV Amp stays at 18 regardless and it's noticably quieter after the new EPG was installed.
 
Got mine yesterday, much improved and I like it especially the plannner with all your series under one entry and the search function. Being able to get Info on another program without having to first change channel is a god send and long overdue.

Yes automatic and there's no way to force a download.

First go to OPTIONS, then get into the ADD CHANNELS sub section.

Add these detials:

And then SEARCH FOR CHANNELS (YELLOW)

Then it will find new new channels, with one in the bottom left corner, called 10510 (this is ITV HD) then highlight it with YELLOW (A tick appears) then press SELECT to store.

Then to watch ITV HD you have to go to OTHER CHANNELS and select 10510.

Normally says ITV HD is unavaliable, until something is on it, but the Barca Chelsea game last night looked amazing!

I've tried ITV:HD twice now and neither time anything has been on! Anyone know if there's Champions League coverage in HD this Tuesday?
 
I got my brand spanking new HD box yesterday and seems I'm unable to edit the frequency as per above for ITV HD? I'm gessing it my brand of box (samsung). Anyone else experienced the same thing?
