The Apprentice - 2009

I think SA made the right decision firing Philip, he was a little over confident in his ability and just didn't perform to his desired high standard.

However, lets hope Lorraine gets the boot next week for the rest of the candidates sake!

Regarding the Selk Bag, I think its an awesome idea. Nothing less comfortable than a mummy sleeping bag that you can't stretch your legs apart but instead confined to a stick.

You where on tv and you didn't hold up a sign saying ocuk?

You failed man. failed hard.

Sorry about that. :D

what's the tog rating? it'd have to be quite low, given the lack of air circulation, or possibility of opening it up to get cool your feet or sweaty balls..
how the **** couldn't that idiot know how much a sleeping bag costs? just say £20-200 ffs

There is no tog rating as such. There are comfort and extreme temperature ratings which differ for the Selk'Bag1, 2 and 3.

I should clarify that this is not my design, we just sell them and I was essentially there on behalf of the designer who is from Chile.

Right decision, Philip is brash and annoying and stopped being good telly an episode or two ago. Personally I wouldn't employ any of them in my business.

the worst part was when pitching to the big pet store with the kitty box, she said something along the lines of the product seems to be orientated towards boys plane/tank etc and the girl responds i can see both male and female cats enjoying this made me cringe how dumb of a response that was.

nah, he's just from Middlesbrough. They're a bit special :p
Don't you mean 'special'? ;)

And Lorraine should have went. She's quite annoying and facetious as this year's apprentice babe said. Got a couple of good reviews and made some good decisions and she decides she's all it.

What just for being annoying even though she was a lot better at the job than Phil or Kate?

i dont think she was any better than the other 2, she only did well last week and she suddently thinks shes the ****.

are you guys forgettting that this is also 'entertainment'? annoying is enough reason for me to want someone gone from a tv show

enjoyed watching philip get wound up by loraine...shame hes gone sure be more drama next week though.

think some of the candidates (philip) and on the previous episode Ben were to sure of themselves though relying on past performances which sadly doesn't work anymore now neurl and most of the other useless (realatively) candiates are gone.

lorraine is so annoying, she should have went :/
And Lorraine should have went.
are you watching the apprentice as a part of an English as a foreign language module?
:D

seriously though, should have went? went? how does this not sound incorrect to you?!

innit blud, i should have went to school today, but **** it coz i am in bottom set

regarding the show, they're all a bunch of spastics. how none of them could get a SINGLE sale is beyond me. maybe if they stopped flirting with the only attractive girl on the show, they might have at least sold one..

Glad Phil went. In the your fired show he did seem a bit calmer and even mentioned that he was on a city break and seems to have realised he took the eye of the ball.

When Lorraine called and spoke to the three of them during the day, they were messing aorund making the box, they reported they only had secured one appointment and they had called "10.....15.....maybe 20" places. given that there were 3 of them and they had a few hours to arrange meetings it wasn't really that many. 7 each or maybe two an hour / person, and thats if you belive the figure which looked like they were just guessing.

Lorraine didn't loose it and yell, she just expressed concern and left them to continue "working". When she hung up the phone and spoke to Jamine it was fairly apparent what they both thught ws happening on the sub team.

Glad Phil went, my quote of the week would be when Phil was in the board room and going on about how great he was, better than all others and Nick just said, pantsman. Took the wind completely out of his sails.

:D

Innit tho.

Perhaps I was being sarcastic? Spoofing the person who said "should have went". Pretending to not understand Engerlish proper. ;)

So actually you fail 'cos your sarcasm detector isn't working. The Fire service recommend your check your sarcasm detector monthly to make sure the batteries are still working. A working sarcasm detector can save your life! :D

That was a quip of epic proportions, he knocked him right down. I was crying with laughter.

Is it just me or are Margaret and Nick having a really good time with the put downs this series?
