Went through the drive-thru before work, and some youth behind the window was complaining about something, having a right moan, to which another member of staff started mouthing off ****** and blinding, giving him a good rollocking with lots of swearing.
The manager in the store must have seen the look on my face - halfway between sheer bemusement and horror as there was a load of kids by the counter next to where it happened
Cue the parent of said kids kicking off big time, having a go at the staff, and demanding to speak to the manager. Which is acceptable. But... as there were hardly any staff on, all the staff were too preoccupied with said woman to get my food, which I could see sat on the trolley going cold.
Five minutes later, someone saw I was sat there, and handed me my food, cue me just looking at them... She finally clocked I wasn't happy, I calmly asked to talk to a manager about why it was necessary to have every member of staff watching said incident and doing nothing.
She wasn't particularly helpful but made a note of my name and address, and said next time I'm going back I'll get a free meal! Result.
