So whats the projected release for GT5 now?

E3 will have the answers.

Weve seen nothing of FM3 or indeed GT5

Ill be buying both with the aim in running both with the 3 screens.
These are my most anticipated games

Septemeber expected hopefully they will stick with this date :D :p

There's already been a thread on this, I did what King-core did above.

The people that have put that date up are just clutching at straws, they know as much as we do. I was told this by a member whos friend works as one of the managers for putting up release dates etc for that place.

No date as yet, i expet it to be out by march 10 for PAL land. I expect Sony will try to push this close to FF13 release in Japan to generate as muh hype for both games as possible. Expect to see it at E3 though if not it will be at TGS .

They did say that there might be updates released for GT5p adding better environments and possibly damage, so I'd expect that would be released before the full game.

Its doubtfull much else will be added to GT5P now.
Now already over 7 months since the last screenshots/video/content was released for the SPEC III update. I think they are concentrating fully on GT5.

We could i suppose be treated to a car damage update for GT5P maybe at E3 (id assume they will show damage and more their) that would please the community.

My feelings are this might only be with a small download limited perhaps to a single race car but incorporating all the damage and physics?
The other options are we wont get anything new at all and that wouldnt surprise me.
Or at some point a damage update will come for GT5P and work with all content already in the game.

If, when it does come out, they do a pack with the PS3 for a reasonable price, I may buy it, but only if the game is as amazingly amazing as it's supposed to be and worth the investment.

I absolutely loved all the other GT games, but never jumped on the PS3 bandwagon since it's so expensive and there was no 'real' GT on it.

In an ideal world we'd have a PC release too!

If Forza 3 comes out before GT5 their will have being 3 Full Forza games made between GT4 and GT5...Bloody Madness!

Ive said something similar before...
FACT GT5 will have taken approx the same time to develop as

GT1 GT2 GT3 GT4 Prologue combined.
All of those would have released in the same time as GT4-GT5 will have taken.

Difference is in FM2 there are 300 ish cars and 14 tracks (not including different versions of each one), no one knows exactly what FM3 will offer. According to various "insiders" GT5 will feature over 600 cars on 90+ tracks ( not including different versions). The cars in GT5 are around the 200K poly mark (FM2 50K-100K), the car isnt modelled as one thing each panel is a seperate entity and fully replacable. Damage is confirmed for Race cars only at present, again for some reason the car manufaturers dont want there nissan micra to be shown all samshed up lol, changable weather and night time races are also being included.
