I am!

Although I am having buyers remorse at the moment, 70% of me is delighted and excited the other 30% is saying its a football match and isnt worth the outlay.

Ticket: £65

Return Plane Ticket: £430

Even if your not going Rome, if it were your club there would you? Any of you go Moscow?

Just feeling 'funny' at the moment, like I've been robbed!:o

Wow I must say you have got a very good price for the ticket there. Season ticket holder yeah? Lucky that you got it considering only 24k tickets per fans allocated as I recall.

I'm not going. Ticket would just cost too much. Would love too though :(

19500 tickets i heard :( and you very lucky to get one ;) got any euro away credits??

Didnt goto moscow either :( went to barca 99 :)

I'd go if my team were playing for sure. Been to France a few times in the last 3 years to watch my team. Not cheap but it's worth it.

Enjoy it. :)

Hey I'm going to the FA Cup Final to cheer my Chelsea on thank you very much.

:eek::confused:

Well, cheques are written posting tomorrow. It isnt through balloting, its acutally through Man Utd's Disabled Supporters because I'm disabled, go figure! :p

One cheque for £860 for me & my brother, and one for £65 for ONE ticket as my carer/escort goes free!

Transfer to and from the stadium, food included on plane. Fly at 11am (ish) because it isn't confirmed when the plane will actually take off! and same again when we return to Rome's Airport!

I guess I could have had anyone as my 'carer' :D - Should have put it on ebay lol!

Oh well, needs must.

(Excited Now)

£430?! Blimey, none cheaper? It's just a destination to Europe. Wow, I wonder if it's easier to pre-emptively book tickets and take the hit on not going there to see a match. I mean Rome's a pretty nice city for a break anyway...

Not getting flights to Rome would help, I'm trying to source a couple of tickets through work currently. If i could get them I'd get a flight to Naples or similar and then travel.

Where are you from? Would the trains not be cheaper? I haven't looked at those Euro Rail passes for years.

Edit - thought you were the O.P. for some reason. :p

London to Italy by train? Of course! It's remarkably easy, comfortable and affordable, in fact, it's amazing that some people still think you need to fly. Take a lunchtime Eurostar from London to Paris in just 2 hours 25 minutes from £59 return, then travel by direct overnight sleeper train from Paris to Milan, Florence, Rome, Verona or Venice for as little as £30 each way including a sleeping berth for the night, arriving after breakfast next morning. This page explains all you need to know to plan, book and make a flight-free trip to Italy, by train.

heh actually i was just looking at that.
