Seems a lot of people moaning about Maggie. But remember this, at least she won her war, and it wasn't based on torture or a pack of lies.

No, I wasn't around, but it's something I do acknowledge. Although as you can see, I'm not Labour's biggest fan. They are however, doing a better job than the tories were doing during the 90's, and I'd never want to go back to those days.

I won't be voting for either party.

And i never want to go back to 3 day working weeks, weekly electricity power cuts, and not knowing what service will be on strike on Monday morning.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at some of the responses in this thread.

First of all, anybody who actually goes out and votes for the BNP should be lined up and kicked out of the country before any immigrants are. Have a taste of your own medicine why don't you. I knew this was a predominately right leaning forum, but wow, just wow.

Well, the BNP's policies are actually left wing rather than right wing. A racist is still a racist, left OR right of politics.

I'm gonna vote for the Lib Dems. I live in an area where Labour poll about 80% of the vote so it won't have an influence anywhere other than the overall vote count.

I wish Blair had followed through on his proportional representation promise.

Amazing how many Labour and Lib Dem voters such a right leaning forum has compared to a handful of BNP supporters.
There is no doubt this is a right leaning forum. Even if when it comes to votes it doesnt appear so, you only have to look at the general response and derision to anything on immigration or aimed at respecting anything outside our own culture to come to that conclusion.

I always had the impression that OcUk tended to attract people of relatively high intelligence. I am amazed by how many people have expressed an interest in the BNP. For those people, you probably don't have the mental capacity or dersire to self-reflect so I will give you some pointers. You are:

Ignorant
Unintelligent
Unsophisticated
Racist
Lack empathy
and people mock you without you realising

Hope that helped.

Actually, they're a right wing group whose manifesto contains mixture of right wing and populist policies. There's very little that could be described as genuinely left wing.

The core of BNP policy is racial segregation - which is about as right wing as it's possible to get!

Its good to see an interesting mix of opinions in this thread, after all isnt that what democracy is all about? I know there is a lot of criticism about people like the BNP and even some people in the thread saying people like the BNP should be banned, but again , isnt that precisely what democracy is about. What the BNP (and others) say might not be liked, but at least they can say it. Frankly I am happy about that, I'm a solid hater of political correctness and censorship.

Ironically I suppose, although its great to see the variety in this thread, ultimately it will all be for naught. Its a foregone conclusion (imo) that the conservatives will absolutely walk the general election, it will be a landslide victory the likes of which hasnt been seen for decades. Actually I also wouldnt be at all surprised to see the Lib Dems move into "2nd" place either.

Their economic viewpoint is completely left wing. I guess you cannot see past their obvious bigotry and you wrongly assume they are right wing.

In fact, Mr Griffin reported on the credit crunch 3 years before it happened. They are completely against American capitalism, stockbrokers and estate agents.

Basically they are left wing racists. Remember, you don't have to be right wing to be racist. Take a walk down Salford, its as Labour and left wing as you can get, and believe me, you wouldn't believe how racist some of them are.

I agree with that. However, when a political group is based on ideas which are fundamentally ignorant and hateful, it's important those who can see sense point it out to the stupid peasants who can't.

I'd rather vote the bnp than a party thats all out destroyed this country
