Angels and Demons

I'm off out to see this tonight. Haven't read the book, although I kept meaning to, I just always started another book before remembering. I'm gonna go with an open mind, and just see what it's like as a stand alone film.

Just got back, and have to say it was pretty good. Maybe if you've read the book it won't be quite as good, but to me it was interesting, and the plot kept me engaged throughout. I'll probably get this on DVD.

Am I the only person who couldn't get more than a few pages into The Da Vinci Code? Dan Brown has the written fluency of a two year old - his English is unbearable.

Went to see this last night, I thought it was really good :)

I never saw The Da Vinci Code or read any of the books.

Saw it last night, I've never read any of the books so I didn't know the story and have nothing to compare it to. I actually thought it was a really good film, much better than I was expecting! Fast paced, exciting and gripping all the way through. I thought the Da Vinci Code was probably one of the most boring films I've ever seen, thankfully this one is better.

Plus it has Ewan McGregor in it. What's not to like? :p (apart from his occasional Irish accent...)

It's pretty dumb. An improvement on The Da Vinci Code, but considering that film made most right-thinking people want to slit their wrists with a rusty spoon, that's not saying much.

Saw it last night, was a bit disappointed to tell the truth, Mrs dragged me there, I wanted to see Star Trek but she got her way.....

6 out of 10 for A&D...

Saw it on Thursday night. Cinema was empty which for an opening night doesn't bode well.

However, I thought the film was amazing! Read the book a few years back and although yes it does miss some bits out and add others - it's a good crack at it!

Saw it on Friday. Bloody brilliant acting from the cast as per usual. I have read the book when it was released. Its easily my favourite and yes the book is better but isn't the book always better.

The only niggle I had with it was the lack of the four elements put together in the sqaure by the illuminati

I'm not sure why people think Dan Brown is a genius. Yes he has some very good ideas around a general plot, but his writing style is very basic, the plot is full of holes. The ending to A&D was just plain daft.

Its more of a book you'd read on holiday.

I watched this yesterday, and liked the film. I took it as an good old thriller, with lots of twists and turns, and kept me guessing till the last 20 mins, which is good as I usally work it out, half way through the film. ;)

Deffo one for my blu-ray collection :)

Watched it on Friday Night, loved it, fantastic movie, i haven't read the book so didn't spot the bits they missed out or couldn't cover, i think i enjoyed it more than my friends who have read the book :)
