A banker from Spokane, Washington, in the USA, has rescued a brood of ducklings which hatched on a ledge.

Joel Armstrong was ready and waiting to help the ducklings down, after rescuing a brood from the same problem a year before.

Banker thwart Darwin's Survival of the Fittest theory. If mama duck decides that laying her eggs in the ledge, somewhere in a crowded town is the right move, it should have it's gene pool reduced.

Much like how many people agree on the natural selection of stupid human mothers.

That said, I'd still do what the bankers do as ducks are quack-tastically cute.

And why did the mother trust that guy ? Usually ducks/other birds go berserk at you if you come near their children.
