Hi all, bit of advice if anyone would be so kind, havent built anything for a couple of years and just checking if this lot would be ok together. its for my Father in law who just wants a cheap pc for web surfing etc. If there are any better options for around the same price I would be greatfull if you pointed them out for me.

Cheers in advance.:)

The only thing i would suggest is trying to stretch your budget to 4gig of memory - it really does make all the difference (especially with win 7 RC)

If money is really tight - stick with it as it's a great bundle for the money - as you'll get a lot of milage out if the E5200 being a great clocker.

That should be fine - i have the Kingston Hyper X in my board and it's the same brand and chipset as your motherboard.

Getting the extra 2gig is an expense but it's one worth making if you can afford it.
