Greatest game companies?

What do you believe to be the greatest game companies?

Psygnosis
Ocean software
Mindscape
Gremlin
Lucas Arts
Bullfrog

These companies made some cracking releases, companies now seem to rush releases then they need to be constantly patched to work correctly or add something that was never even there in the first place

not one part of you thinks that the games are like 20 times bigger then in the past yet don't take 20 times as long so when i say rushed i'm wrong?

They may be bigger but that doesnt make them better. A games a game, not a load flashy graphics with a crap game behind it all. Id rather have something like sensible soccer or nebulus with a higher resolution

Probably the 4 companies that stand out for me, mainly because most were involved in my gaming as a kid and the fact that SW KOTOR and Mass Effect are the best RPG's I've ever played.

Infogrames also developed 2 of my favorite pc games, constructor and Street wars.

sorry reworded what i said so it was a question...

the troulbe i think is that everything was new back then so seemed much better then the fantastic games coming out now; mario v.s crysis, i know i didn't enjoy crysis as much as i did playing mario as a child but crysis is by far a much better game. crytek is just a great company as nintendo though. only way imo you can really say if a company is better then another is what it does with it's profits. microsoft sold the xbox 360 at a loss, nintendo sold wii at a profit, looking at it like that microsoft is a much better company imo.

EA :p ok they suck in some ways but atleast they still release lots of games on the pc

Blizzard. Mainly for Diablo 2 and Warcraft 2/3. Obviously WoW is pretty popular as well :p
Valve for obvious reasons
