Final day of the English Premier League.

Can Shearer keep the "toon army" in top flight football ?
Can Phil Brown scrape by against the English Champions ?
Can Sunderland hold on ?
Can Southgate work miracles ?

Really looking forward to the last day !
Can't wait to see who we will be playing next year :p

For anybody who is interested there are some really decent odds for the likes of Man Utd to win, when I personally think they will. Plenty more games over the weekend which have favourable odds too. Since it's the final weekend I'll probably blow £20 on 10 accumulators and cross my fingers :D

United might be playing a lot of kids but they are some quality young players. Hope Macheda gets a few more appearances next year.

Probably opening a can of worms with this and I daresay its already been discussed but:
I can't understand why people are going so mental now about United playing a few youth players. Teams have been doing it all season, resting players. I understand that teams fates are hanging in the balance, but the reason clubs are in this predicament is their form over the SEASON. To blame it all on a weakened side in the last game, especially when Man Utd have a Champions League final to worry seems stupid.

Anyhow, a win for us against West Brom tomorrow could potentially push us up to 13th. Really disappointed that travel complications mean I can't go to the game :( Even had a Turkish flag ready for Tugay's last game!

Why was this renamed ?

Could a mod please send me an email ?

I'll put more fixtures in the first post if you like, but this was primairly about the last day of the Premier League.

I think the league will finish how it stands at the moment. Newcastle, Middlesborough and West Brom.

I think Hull might scrape a draw, or a tight 1-0 loss. It'll be a very interesting afternoon anyway.

Forgot there was a play off spoiler thread already, if the 2 start crossing over they will be merged:)

Plus, these are no ordinary kids. They were the bulk of the Carling Cup winning team and also outplayed Everton to a large extent in the FA semi.

Hope Newcastle win and hope Hull get stuffed. Would be annoyed to think we lost the title by a point if we win and United lose even though they would have fielded a weakend team.

Exactly, both teams are going to have a hard job today. I can however see Newcastle scraping a result against Villa. Hull need to sort themselves out early in the game if they were to pick up points against any United side.
