Yes you can. If you use the 360 SE you can use a solder-less method for PS3 and 360 compatibility in one stick. You should ask these questions in the arcade stick thread though.
 
You're not going to be using balrog now as your main kree are you? :(

I did beat you with ken but it was ridiculously close, I hate fighting balrog. :p

That was the first time I'd used him, now I know his combo's I feel much more confident with him.

I'll mix it up between Rog, Blanka and Ryu btu doubt I'm trying to whittle my 9 characters down to 2 eventually so I can actually start learning them properly.

What was your gamertag again?
 
With regards to the madcatz SE modded being a 'pile of ****', yeah thats he said lol. This is one of the guys who works in Gamerbase who has his own custom built stick. Bearing in mind I had a madcatz stick for a week, and then I had a quick go on his, the difference was instantly noticeable and huge. That could have been down to the buttons/stick because mine were all madcatz parts, but the whole stick felt more solid, it was a lot bigger and heavier. He said that most the guys who come down for the tournys all have custom sticks, we will see on sunday. Oh how I would love to see someone with a 360 pad turn up and give all the regulars a hiding. :p

ps. Ojste, bang on for blocking blanka's ultras! The first low hit was the one I never saw but all sorted now. :)
 
Yours is un-moddedand at stock the SE is a pile of crap, but he just sounds like an elitist tool, because his custom stick will not have better components than a Sanwa modded SE.

Edit - Fighting against blanka and ryu was mostly manageable but you just had the upperhand near the end!

Yeah it's InvestingAunt dude, why? I don't have the Xbox with me atm. :(

Edit - I'll invite you to a game when I get the chance, I'm really missing my SFIV time! :(

Yeah I know, thats why I thought his felt better... due to the sanwa parts which mine didn't have. Although if I ever get a stick in future it would have to be a TE or a custom one made to a similar size.
 
Madcatz SE Sanwa Modded with a seimitsu ball top hehe :p, Would do fine for me, Even though the TE comes with all sanwa parts maybe if price reduces i may get one then, but atm It definitely has to be the SE, :D

Those balrog players look absoltuely Lethallll, I honestly dont think i stand a chancee..

haha their balrogs are definitely better than mine :p. id still fancy my chances though with ken, they look good but not godly good like the jap/us tourney players

They are not doing anything fancy. The combos and Ultras are very easy to do and they seem to be doing a few random head buts =/
 
they were linking the rush upper combos pretty well, there quite tricky especially compared to the standard balrog BnB combos. they seemed pretty solid but not machine-like :p

It's no harder than the overhead > clk > hb > Ultra.

I'm not saying I'm anywhere near their skill by the way, I'm pants :p
 
To be totally honest when i used to play with sagat i used to lovee playing balrog players, Now ryu is my full time, i honestly think im gona get pasted plus on the 360 :@, This is the main reason why i am changing to stick no matter what console it is i will always be used to stick hehe.

Kreeee true say mate they arent really doing nothing special its just the timing there playing on,
the guy let of one random jab and he got punished with an ultra for it.

Will keep you all informed on how it goes will also try and take pics and videos,

doing it once is different to doing it consistently though ;)

overhead, cr.lk is extremely easy, as is overhead, cr.mp. rush upper links are much tighter i think

his EX rush upper combos are the hardest out of his standard combos and the only one thats a real hard link (1 frame?)
