what sat nav options do i have tomorrow when it comes ? it will be using an o2 sym so i cant use orange maps do u still have to sign progs for symbian devices?

Went into the Orange store thats in Aber today, no idea if its an offical one of not but the woman there had never head of a Samsng Omnia HD or knew when they would be coming in.

I got the same apps work fine too - got a few more now...will update later. tried the video playback and call problem i had earlier and it didnt freeze this time so it might have just been a one time error

yea cus i really want to keep the phone - really like it.but if it happens again might have to re-consider. i have posted a question on the samsung forum about this -see what they have to say.

hi,

has anyone tryed putting their music on the phone. the cover art is also showing in the media browser etc and cloging everything up as i just put 50 on there.

I'm also getting freezing sometimes. Ok I will probably be sending the phone back. Pain in the ass for me sorry guys. Internet isn't as quick as iphone either. Laggy compared to it including lots of other issues. Bonus is the screen is excellent.
I'm going to try and persevere to Monday and then see if my opinion changes. Posting on this is like heaven on my iPhone compared to omnia hd. Shame I so wanted a new toy.

received mine this morning camera is great thats about as good as it gets, unfortunately im spoilt with my 3g iphone and its just not in the same league, the ui the browsing just is in inferior so mines going back or on ebay not sure yet

depends if you havent had an iphone before if not it will annoy you but will love the screen if you have you will just compare it all the time and realise it aint as good shame but true

I got a response from Samsung regarding the audio quality:

Samsung said:
Thank you for contacting Samsung Electronics.

...

With regard to your email, the sound quality should not be reduced to a
noticable amount, itwould be reduced somewhat to accomodate the HD
recording. If you feel it is drasticly reduced, it may be a fault on the
handset, and providing it is within 28 days of purchase, i would advise
that you return it to your retailer.

I hope this has been of some assistance to you. If you do have any
further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I have not had a reply yet....need your opinions. Not got a 3g iphone - if you were me would you get rid of this and get the iphone or keep it?
I want to stay on orange really as my tariff is better than a 35 month o2 one.
