The Tottenham Bike - 'Brutally' Attacked In London

Danielle Lloyd needed hospital surgery following a nightclub attack, her management said today.

Lloyd was at Crystal Nightclub in London's West End when the brawl broke out in the early hours of yesterday morning.

She needed stitches for a back wound and also sustained a more serious injury to her leg which required "emergency surgery".

A statement from her management said: "Danielle sustained a serious wound to her back which required stitches upon arrival at hospital."

Lloyd had been socialising with six friends, including her boyfriend, Spurs star Jamie O'Hara, when the incident happened, the statement said.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant, who was involved in the 2007 race row along with Jade Goody and others, was said to have been thrown on to a table of drinks by two women.

An ambulance was called and O'Hara awaited its arrival outside before travelling with Lloyd to hospital.

Club security detained two women who were then arrested by the police.

Pictures published in today's Sun showed the WAG lying on a pavement spattered in blood.

The newspaper reported that she screamed and sobbed.

A statement from the Metropolitan Police said two women were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and were released on bail to a date in July.

Looks no different to all of the hundreds of other alcohol fuelled attacks. Unfortunate but not surprising. I don't see how this is news worthy.

You probably didn't see it but there was a TV program about her talking about when she used to be a victim of domestic violence, I would think being attacked could bring back some bad memories, she didn't seem too bad of a person either.

Why not?

There are plenty of similar stories every week of members of the general public in the same scrapes.

This is a celebrity (I use the term very lightly) and I seem to remember being told constantly that this is why Jade bleedin' Goody got so much attention.

She's also got through half of a Spurs squad.

This is being reported as unprovoked.

Apparently she was punched and then pushed into a glass table which broke, resulting in very deep cuts.

Sadly because she is:

a) a reality tv "star"
b) the aforementioned footballer's trike
c) fap material.

Feel for the girl and all, but you're right - it's definitely not news worthy but rest assured the BBC's loyal readers have shot it straight to #1 in the most read section further highlighting the mentality of the news reading jackal public... :rolleyes:

For those who don't know, she was on Celeb Big Brother when Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty were on. A choice quote directed at Shetty: "**** off home". She was every bit as bad as Jade, if not worse, but somehow she got off lightly in the press whilst Goody took the brunt.
