That's it.
What was the first online game you played and which is your favourite?

My first was Chu Chu Rocket on dreamcast, I hated it. :D

My favoutite Soldier Front. I got GTAIV for multiplayer, Crysis, TF2(sux ass imo), counter strike e.t.c. e.t.c. the only one I come back to is Koreas No1 game and they love their FPS, Soldier Front.

My first online game for the PC was Quake II back in 1998 when I first started to have an Internet connection. Ahh the good old days of 56K dial-up.

For Console, I missed out on Chu Chu Rocket when it came out, which I personally love for it's simplicity, but the first for this was Phantasy Star Online. What a wonderful and memorable experience it was.

Probably my favourite of all time is Battlefield 1942 and the Desert Combat mod. Such great fun and many hilarious moments in that game. On the Console side, it would still be Phantasy Star Online and for portables, Mario Kart DS.

first:

Age of empires 2: conq, even though I had aoe and ror, aoe2 was the first I played online.
First fps was mohaa which was class online, nice fast paced action.

Best:
Civ4:BTS.
Followed by Worms Armageddon, still rocks online and is always active.
And CoD4 online, still superb, if there wasn't for the many idiots who don't respect other players.

First was Duke Nukem 3D. Direct modem to modem with a mate.

Best? Hard to say, probably EQ as it is certainly the one I spent most time online.

First: Doom on Kali (back in 95? I think. Unplayable, played for about 5 mins and moved about twice)
Best: Quakeworld, specifically Team Fortress. I still don't think anything has come close to matching what Quakeworld did with netcode and making a game feel that playable on a modem. (of course nowadays it's kind of moot, but still).

First and best: Guild Wars. I'm a sucker for this kinda game so it's not really a surprise, the early days of Guild Wars were great though :)
