Whats with the green bit of the rev counter and 5.5k redline?

The green bit is to indicate where the engine should be most economical. The dotted red line starts at 5.5K with the limiter just before 6K. With its moonshot gearing that still gives 115 in 3rd and a theoretical 175 in top.

saab 9000s are awesome, especially the Aeros :D
so what if it's really a lancia thema/fiat croma
my dad had 2 when i was younger, they're fast and the boot is gigantic
shame you've got the ones with the airbag, the huge glovebox was useful..
is it a 96/97?

97 model year. It is possible to remove the airbag and retrofit a glovebox pretty easily as the rest of the interior is unchanged from the earlier CSs.

Not bad for 1100 quid :D

Those stalks are nothing new, they exist on many cars!

My old man's 2002 Accord has them too!

I think Rover / Honda shared many parts in the 80s / 90s, and that Mini is a Rover sooo :D.

They were still putting those 15 year old stalks on the MG ZRs in 2005!

His project was all about parallels between real life and computer games, so he was taking shots of people in real situations then making them look as game like as possible. Hence the stylized motion blurring and me wearing a gaming headset. Looked pretty cool, I thought.
