Fortunately I have mains plumbed to all the cold water taps round the house which is great, it means I can drink the water from any tap.
You lucky bugger, we have to stick it in the freezer and wait a bit.
The other way around, kitchen water is nicer and always colder.
I have one of those fridges that dispense water that's been filtered, wife swears by it. I can't tell the difference. Water is water, it has no taste regardless of the source.
Don't you think that water from the bathroom tap tastes better than from the tap in the kitchen?

You do realise that water will come from the big water tank in your loft where all the spiders like to hang out?![]()
YES. I don't know what it is, always seems colder and fresher from the bathroom tap.
bottle our tap water and sell it as Mineral water.....
I never even considered if it came from the tank...can't say I notice the difference a great deal though... Might stop my bathroom water trips now! (it's closer than the kitchin)

Both in my house taste the same.
your upstairs cold water doesn't come from the the tank in the loft at all
it come from the same feed as the kitchen cold water and is at mains pressure.
the tank in the loft only feeds your water heater and then on to your bathroom and kitchen hot taps by mavity feed.
