Rare gaming items

I've got MGS3:Subsistance, 2xFF7, MGS: Twin Snakes, Resident Evil 2:Dual Shock, Res 4 GC Original & a few others.

These are the two rarest thing I have on hand right here.

Paper Mario on the N64, a virtual boy, Link to the past with the secrets sealed. It's actually hard to remember what I've managed to find over the years.

Ive got every Final fantasy produced on PAL PS1 and PS2,
Keep thinking to flog em while ill get 150, but then think they may be worth more come a few years?!

I've got every PAL Final Fantasy, every Famicom, Super Famicom (including FF4 Easytype) and PS1 JP Final Fantasy, and every US PS1 Final Fantasy. All boxed and complete. I reckon I'd get the best part of four figures if I was to sell (which I'm not...) :p

I personally never seen the lure behind purchasing "rare" games. Then again i like to play my games :p - But each to their own

anyways sticking to topic...

I currently own, FF7 Jap orginal, FF7 Jap international, FF7 US orginal black disc's, FF7 PAL orginal black disc's.
I also still own all the Ps1 Final Fantasy games all orginal black disc's no plat versions:
Final Fantasy Anthology - PAL
Final Fantasy Origins - PAL
Ehrgeiz - PAL - spin off
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy XII
Final Fantasy Chronicles - US ver

I also own a crap load of Mega drive games along with 2 consoles and the CD addon thingy - Cant remember the real name off the top of my head. Also have one of the rarest Sonic games Sonic CD :D
SNES - with a load of games.
N64 - pikachu edition :p again aload of games. Including the Zelda games which I believe have become quite rare.

strange... i was just looking for super mario kart two day ago and thought 15£ was a bit pricey lol : 0

Look for old school fully boxed Final Fantasy 7 and 8 for the pc. Bought them when they came out but sold them last year for £50 and £40 respectively (needed the money)

Oo wonder if they still go for that price, I've got a boxed FF7 here, might hold onto it for ahwile and see if the price changes :)

Still got my boxed Virtual Boy in good condition with Mario Tennis and Wario Land... Wario Land was considered for a long time to be the best 2D platformer on any console. Looks like it's gone up in value since i bought it for $15 in 1998 :o

i want a ps1 copy of metal gear solid :( not to add to a sealed collection, but to play it :p

other than that i have nothing worth value in my games collection. (maybe ff7 original)

edit: vandal hearts is amazing! :D

Used to manage a Gamestation - one of the benefits was being able to cherry pick all the cool retro stuff that came in. Sold off most of it now, but kept one or two bits that I can't get rid of.
Got my original copies of MGS, VR Missions, FF VII and Vandal Hearts. My favourite thing is the mint copy of Secret of Mana - loved that game and I can't bear to part with it, even though I never play it :(
My one regret was selling my copy of Suikoden on the PS when I finished it - had no idea it was so rare, was amazed at the priced when I went to buy a copy to replay it.

Used to manage a Gamestation.
Did you constantly have Rock music playing over the speakers? :D

I'm very glad that I still have my launch copies of Shenmue 1 and 2, both still in wonderful condition as if new. Just a shame I feel as if my Dreamcast is on it's way out though.

Quite subjective, but I also have Ikaruga, Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram, Sega GT Homologation Special, Grandia II and Skies of Arcadia. The last one definately and I hope people who have bought Valkryria Chronicles for their PS3 will know how special it may become as well.

Still have the PC versions of Final Fantasy VII and VIII. Just a shame they don't even work properly without glitches unless I build myself an old PC with legacy hardware to make the most of them.

Not sure if they are uber rare or anything. But I have Steel Batallion for Xbox, and Samba De Amigo for Dreamcast with the maracas :)

And a sealed release day copy of FF7 for PS1.
