Rare gaming items

Zone of The Enders 2nd Runner costs £50 these days. Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence will set you back at least £60.

My local gamestation had every Shin Megami Tensei a while back but I thought nothing of it, now ofc they are all gone and I wish I bought every single one. Persona 3 and 4 are easy to find, the others are much harder. I bought Digital Devil Saga off ebay yesterday.

On a different note, Suikoden II on PS1 is worth £80 now, angers me because I had it but lent it to someone 5 years ago and never got it back!

I have Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence, no manual though. I got it because I hadn't played it before.

I have 2 copies of MGS1, because my launch day copy disc 2 stopped working.

I also have Steel Batalion unboxed, I also picked up a Snes pad that works as a Wii classic controller, that you could only get in Japan. (But it was really cheap)
 
MGS3:S is that rare?! Seriously? How come?

To think I actually had two copies of it a while ago... The box cracked on one of them so I used that as a lending copy for friends. The other one is mint though. :D

I have the LTD ed. of Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Wonder how much that is...

If you also have the large and ridiculousy expensive control peripherals Steel Batallion came with, then I would say that is rare. Same for Samba de Amigo and the Maracas. Hell even Sega Bash Fishing and the Fishing Rod controller would be rare too, especially when it also works for driving and fighting games.
 
I notice the Saturn has more valuable rares than most consoles. I'd get a Neo Geo but people just try and rip you off on ebay £1000 for game who the f are some people kidding.
 
I've got a few of the rare PS2 and gamecube games as during that time i was working part time while still being at school (and therefore living at home so no bills to pay) so i could afford shed loads of games. I rarely sell em on so they've just piled up. I'm not even sure which ones are worth anything!

Notables are the posh Ico and Sotc releases, ZoE2 and tales from symphonia, i think each will fetch around £50.

I have tales of Symphonia! :D I didnt know it was worth anything.

Biggest mistake I made was getting rid of Legend of Dragoon, that was worth a bit, And worth more now. But worst of all, I sold it without finishing it :(

Xenosaga 1 and 2 never even came out in this country, I'm thinking of buying them actually.
 
Rarest thing I had was a complete iD anthology boxset that cost me 10 quid, ended up selling on an auction site a few years later for over 90 quid :D

I've only ever seen 1 sealed FF7 on auction but it was part of a massive bundle..... the guy wanted over 2k for it and was based in germany :(

One day i might get my grubby mitts on a sealed one :p
 
The only rare game i have in my collection as such is a boxed version of Planetoids on a rom cartridge for the Spectrum. Think there was only ever 10 games released as a rom cartridge for the Speccy, not sure its rare or valuable (dont care) but im the only person i know with one. Cost me 50P from a car boot must be 20 years or so ago now
