Tonight I have been......

Fair enough...I need to get mine fitted, would be good to see what I get when playing, instead of what I get overall. :)

To be fair invader, I now wish I did not have the thing, I percieved my e38 728i as being much more economical than my current e36 merely because it had A: an 85 Litre tank and B: no OBC.

When you see the economy in cold figures, its worrying! :D

Hoon is a derogatory term used in Australia and New Zealand to refer to a person who engages in loutish, anti-social behaviour. In particular, it is used to refer to one who drives in a manner which is anti-social by the standards of contemporary society, that is, fast, noisily or dangerously. Hoon activities can include speeding, street racing, burnouts, doughnuts or screeching tyres.[1] Those commonly identified as being involved in "hooning" or street racing are young, predominantly male although increasingly female drivers in the age range of 17 and 35 years.

:D

I want to see how low I can get it on a run...I don't care for high MPG. :D

i hooned lastnight, for about 30 miles on the M25. i had got held up by a numpty in lane 2, dawdling at 70 when lane 1 was clear, causing another numpty travelling at 70.9mph to have to "overtake" in lane 3

this took forever, so i sat behind the fiesta with high beam on (and mine is brutal) and they still didnt move. so i popped it down to third and pinned it for the next 30 miles.

i was doing big big speed for a long long time (traffic was very clear apart from those numpties) so i felt safe doing so but the law wouldnt be as happy.

Numpty or not, you were in the wrong for what you did.

Numpty was doing more or less the legal limit and was probably a bit freaked out by the cretin with his high beams behind him.

People forget others on the road may not be quite the driving God that they think themselves are. ;)

i just re read my post, i can read it pretty clearly.

numpty doing 70mph in lane 2 with nothing else in lane 1 and my stuck behind said numpty as another clown in a corsa doing 70.9mph creeps past in lane 3 yet the first numpty refuses to move over to lane 1 despite no other traffic

youre a lorry driving, (right?). surely you know we drive on the left in the UK?

I havn't been hooning but I have been letting the traffic go on a bit and then dropping a couple cogs and flooring it, not for the speed but for the noise.... 3.2 VR6 @ 7000rpm = :D

Yup, I'm a trucker, I also know that many people don't like cars in lanes 1 & 2 due to the deep ruts in the road caused by HGV's like mine, this is probably why he was sat where he was.

Situations are often not what you think they are at first glance.

Your E38 didnt have an OBC?

God why on earth did you buy that! One of the whole points of luxury cars is to be surrounded by pointless televisions and readouts :D
