Si, the Turnpike Inn (pub opposite the lake) isn't there anymore btw! Half of the building is missing and the rest is covered in scaffold
my mates parents used to own it, sold it to a travel lodge type company about 8 months ago and they've obviously not done anything with it. but i agree with cymatty, the food was far better at the other place anyway.

I'll stay clear of this one, mainly because I don't have a car worthy enough any more, and also both times I've been the weather has been totally naff, so I'm just a bad omen

The mixed grill I had there the other day was brilliant!

That's just harsh
It's in a bit of a state at the moment though, paintwork looks like it was cleaned by a brillo pad, all cracked on the rear bumper where I assume some tit hit it and drove off and the rear subframe bushes are pretty much none existent!
On a plus side the engine is still making good power and it stops pretty well, just looks a bit rough round the edges!

Infact with all this easy work im getting you at the moment you can pay for the fuel there and back

I would think around £150 in fuel for the journey / hooning ! Im going up this weekend but will take a work car as i think its a slight waste of money ha ha
