erm no, it is quicker, read the facts
you've still not provided any evidence to back these claims up.

Revvy petrol engines are sure fun to, but you don't see us diesel owners constantly slagging off your engines..![]()
That's exactly how this thread started.

First thread I popped onto after an evenings work, I've not even looked at the 205 thread yet![]()
snip
It's hardly fair to compare a standard engine with a modified engine though.
What facts? All you've given me is a load of oil burning propaganda. I'll happily shut up with you provide me with evidence that a 200bhp diesel will 'destroy' a 200bhp petrol.

pretty much obvious as the diesel will have the same bhp and shed loads more torque![]()
Mr Freefaller has kindly cleaned that thread upbut yeah the thread started out the opposite way.
No offence taken but your pug sounds like a tractor.
*runs and hides*

I am trying to find them, its well known tho i thought, and pretty much obvious as the diesel will have the same bhp and shed loads more torque![]()
which is exactly what stinka has been doing.

How come my Dads car is slower than mine even though it has 410nm of torque compared to my 300nm?

yh, but everyone knows that tuning a n/a engine like the gti-6 lump is very costly, i mean you have to spend severall grand to get over 200bhp, probably cams. headwork. bottom end, modified inlets, even throttlebodies
turbo tuning is always many times cheaper
