Do you do it

Get it all the time in the mini, often combined with a flash of the lights. All the owners seem to do it. Always gives me a smile for some reason

Being a new owner i've yet to meet another mk1 whilst i've been out in it, but that's usually cause im out on country roads thrashing the old girl :D

I find i thumbs up to a lot of cars that im interested in and dont see too often tho! The mrs always trying to spoil my fun and telling me not to be such a fool :cool: Not half as ******* bad as her tho in her damn mini, im sure she flashes about 20 a day :rolleyes:
 
I'm sick of waving to fellow Stobart drivers - theres too damn many of us! :D

I've started to give different gestures instead of a wave, it gets interesting reactions! :D
 
I normally raise a hand in response to any other 7-esque cars I see, and normally receive one in return.
 
i suppose its all to do with the scene. scoobs might not be "special or rare" but neither are golfs and they wave all the time. when i had that mint mk2, just random people would give a thumbs up, that thing got loads of female attention which i thought was plain odd (but then i would, my gf at the time hated it)

definately get it in the golf scene

if new mini drivers all waved to each other then that would involve every rival estate agent waving at eachother and theyre too competative to do that
 
I'll raise a hand to another mk1. No point flashing as the lights don't react quick enough. Don't bother with MK2 or 3 unless they wave first as there are too many of them owned by non-enthusiasts. Someone in another MX5 flashed me when we were out in the hire car the other day though which caught me by surprise and we also saw an MR2 which vix waved to and completely confused them :D

/EDIT - doh that'll teach me the read the thread properly, didn't realise vix had already posted.
