Well, either he's lying in which case he's stupid, or he's not. In which case he's stupid. £900 on a keyboard, mouse and 5.1 speakers? Fail.

Alienware is expensive for what you get.
This is a kid for sure who really types in CAP LOCKS, swears a lot and put lol on the end of everything.

This has got to be one of the funniest threads i've read on here. Like most i think i can smell something also. That said if he is for real then he is a fool for not taking peoples sound advice.

well ACTAULLY I HAVE A SLIGHT IDA WHAT I AM DOING...
Certainly doesn't look like it! If you had £5k, and were foolish enough to blow it on a PC, far better to spend say £2k, leave the other £3k in the bank and just spend £1k on upgrades each year for the next three years. That will buy you a far better PC owning experience than WASTING all the cash on what you've indicated above.

i also call BS..

no one buys that spec and leaves it sitting in a locked room for "a few months" because they are busy

no one should buy all that, and then ask for advice and recommendations AFTERWARDS

but still, good for a LOL :)

What's funny is that he bought water cooling stuff and yet got a crappy A.L.C domino kit as well for the cpu.

And what's even funnier is that instead of spending £5000 on some expensive/exclusive hardware, so that we can feel jealous, he wasted it on things that he'll never use. For instance, several thermal compounds and yet no mx2/as5, no EVGA classified, no 30 inch monitor, no ocz blades/domninator gts. I could go on but I'll spare him the disappointment.

Reading this thread was just cringeworthy but as long as you enjoy it Rich_boi...

That not good at all for 5k. Lot's of pointless extras expensive cpu which you wont use, crap water cooling.
I would do something like this. Comes about 500 hundred over but easy to shave that of with a bit of thought depending what you want. But I also don't think this will be built. But then again there are some rich people out there.

and yes i have all the purchases in my living room i have got like 50 boxes lol i am going to do an unboxing and put it on youtube so watch it !!

I just can't wait to see the reaction when el nubcake destroys something with the magic of static / split water cooling tubes / snapped motherboard... :)

But seriously chap, blow £1200 to £1500 on the PC, get driving lessons and a car, and do some crazy stuff with your life. Get laid lots, get drunk, get wasted, go scuba diving, go on holiday, white water rafting, anything you fancy.

But for the love of some deity, don't blow all that really hard earned cash on a PC that'll suck donkey-dick in three years. Think about it; two years of hard graft for three years of gaming? I consider myself a pretty dedicated gamer, but that would push anybody's limits of 'reasonable', it's just not a good return on investment.

Life's just too short mate.

what a terrible spec. you've wasted a load of money, well done.

A week of research is nothing, and clearly was nowhere near enough.

Oh well, hopefully you'll lern from this rather expensive lesson.
