lock the doors?

I have never done this, my parents or brother don't but some of my friends parents do it.

Anyone else do it and why?

I used to get my mum to lock the back doors, the one where her handbag was, as for a while there was a crime spree of poeple opening car doors while in queues grabbing what they can then running off. Well mostly rpraying on women and their handbags.

I stopped when I got back to the UK - when living in SA (like someone has already said) it's automatic. It used to freak people out when I got a lift here until I stopped. Even did it in a taxi a few times :D

I do, cause I usually had my iPhone on the seat next to me with my FM transmitter thing. If not,. I don't bother.

I believe a lot of BMW's used to automatically lock as soon as you start moving and then release in the event of any impact- triggered in the same way as airbags/rollbars etc I guess. :)

I tend to lock doors yes after a mate was robbed at some traffic lights in the midlands- thank god for the West Country :p

I forget to lock my car when I'm go out of it nevermind when I'm in :p

Matter of time before I get stinged for my dodgy memory!

My central locking only unlocks the drivers door, so all the other remain locked unless I hit the button several times. So if I'm on my own just the drivers door is unlocked.
