I couldn't hink of a good way to sum this up in a title but,

What is the one purchase you have made in your life that you wish you hadn't, either because it was far to expensive and never gets used, it lost all it's resale value or because it tuned into a money pit.

Cars, Houses, Stocks/Shares, Clothes etc etc

My latest bike, some parts have started rusting after only a few months, I wish I had spent a little more and got a bike with better quality components

I've regretted buying one or two rifles, but mainly because they never got used enough and were sold on within a fairly short time.

I regretted procuring a credit card, and most of the mince I bought on it, but now that I'm just about debt free it doesn't bother me so much, hung over me for years though.

Buster Sword Replica from Final Fantasy VII for £400 - Lost it at a Halloween party (For ***** sake :/)

Assassin's Creed Collectors Edition for £60 - played it for 5 minutes. Literally then it went in the box to rot.

Nothing else too much I don't think...

My computer... £1200 (albeit some of that was insurance money as my laptop got stolen). I could have easily got a PC half that price that would do everything I've used it for.
Unfortunately I wanted the best I could afford at the time. :(

I won't be spending that much on a PC again, complete waste of money.

Apart from that I have been pretty sensible with my money and can't think of anything else that I really regret buying.

Ipod touch for my parents, it's been "fixed" twice and replaced twice in the past year. I wouldn't mind but they barely bloomin use it and treat it like it's a new born baby they're so careful! Worst gift I've ever bought, genuinely wish I'd just given them a damn iRiver instead at half the price and harder to use, I've stood on mine half a dozen times! :D
