Tickets for top gear!

i got a call the other day from applause store. after applying ages ago for top gear tickets.

i have 4 tickets for filming on the 1st July :D RESULT!


so excited. has anyone been to the filming of this before?
 
well apparently the tickets are given out on random. ive been applying every time ne dates are released.

the "theres a 4 year waiting list thing" apparently means if they put all the people into a que and went through the list it would take that long but in reality they are randomly selected. so if you have applied just the once 3 years ago apply again. and again and again
 
Loads of my mates have been. It's really good apparently. They run through the whole show twice without stopping basically and then go back and fill a few bits in that they messed up at the end. They all got signed stuff (Top Gear Top Trumps is what they all took) but you have to take your own pen and stuff.

Apparently Richard is the only one who wears an ear piece now since his crash and sometimes has to be prompted for lines unlike the others.

They throw on a good show and have a good chat with the audience when not filming.
 
Strap some Hovis to your head. Or get JC to put a loaf on one of the cars or on the table or the TV where they review. Do that and you're a legend ;)
 
Haha, I love threads like this. I work for Julian Bailey, who, some say, used to be the Stig!

So I can get hold of Top Gear tickets whenever I like :D
 
I went a couple of years back when they did the supercars for a grand challenge thing. Elan McCarthy was on the show also.

It was a good laugh, JC's head is massive!!
