Guys,

When talking application forms, is it rude to write in block capitols or not? It hasn't stated on the form but on previous one's I've noted it says to print everything in block capitols.

I've started doing this so that it is clear and concise but I obviously don't want to come across rude and this to possibly affect the outcome. There are sections where I have to write a series of paragraphs etc. Let me know what you guys think.

It's done to ensure your writing is clear. If you write neatly then I'd actively avoid doing it when writing sentences but for important details like name and address then you should do really.

Personally I wouldn't write paragraphs in CAPS (unless instructed to) but it's fine for filling out generic information. That said, if your handwriting is as bad as mine, maybe you should! :)

If you have one of those 'one character to a cell' type forms then capitals (not 'capitols') is the way.

If it's a free-form box then use your normal method of writing.
