Finally :D

Took AGES!!!! Got him :)

Now to see what I get........................

EDIT: The magic hammer tip was the major help I think. Removing his MP was good, but absorbing it for constant big guards and heals.

Quite looking forward to seeing what this is........ I assume its a water based summon from what people in the town have said....

Haha, it never ends!! Can't believe I'm still on disc 1. Next I need to work out what this means..

And that's not to mention what's going on with the fires on the mountain that you cant pass. I know there's something behind it, just not sure if I've missed a way through or if it comes later........

lol, I've got so many people making sure I don't miss stuff and offering advise there's no danger I'd have missed it...... right??? :D

Why's my Yuffie sad?? :(

Purple limit bar = Sadness - Slower limits, less damage taken.

Bright Red = Fury - Faster limits, more damage taken.

I always have my chars on fury whilst grinding. More limits is always good. :D

I'm fairly sure it's later on in the game. :) It's something optional though, so don't forget it's there!

The most easiest, i.e. cheap, strategies are;

For Ruby weapon, just have Cloud alive, so kill the other 2 party members beforehand, make sure he has his Ultimate weapon, or at least one that is strong enough to deal 9999 damage most of the time, have Omnislash Limit Break and Mimic Materia and off you go.

And if you don't mind dying a lot of times just to do it, Cait Sith's Slot Limit Break and getting Instant Victory on both Ruby and Emerald Weapons.

Ugh, I've been trying my hardest to keep clear of this thread. I've played through FFVII SO many times. I own 4 copies of the game. Yet.... I've just downloaded it, JUST so I can play it legitimately on my PSP. I'm starting it shortly...

Proves even the most die-hard fans can't resist :D.

I own the game but still bought it. No shame in it tbh. :p
