HI THERE, BEFORE YOU GET STARTED THIS IS A LEGIT POST, I SWEAR ON MY LIFE, WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE WAS A JOKE AND I WOULD LKE TO TAKE THIS TIME TO THANK EVERY PERSON WHO HELPED ME BUY MY FREINDS WATER COOLING SYSTEM CHEERS LADS:)

well as you guessed my cousin who wants a gaming pc, and has sold his old quad bike and xbox 360 with speackers and games and an extra £1500 savings he has got a budget of £3828, CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE HIM A SPEC ON OVER CLOCKERS WITH AN INTEL CORE I7 965 with a 2 gtx 295 and he wants them both and the cpu liquid cooled do not worry about the accessories like headsets keyboards and mice and speakers, all he wants is the pc parts AND A MONITOR, and IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE CPU PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT IT IS THE LAST RESORT THING TO DO THANKS AND PLEASE NO MESSAGES ABOUT OH HE IS LYING BLAH BLAH BLAH THIS IS FOR LEGIT GUYS PLEASE THANKS FOR READING THIS ;)

Just get everything one cheaper than the "£5,000 budget" (which you never did show us any pictures of), job done.

I'll bite, because i'm nice and everything. I will assume this is all proper, and if not it may help someone who is in this situation, so here goes:

Firstly, why is the CPU change last resort? Do you already have one or something?
The i7 920 d0 stepping is significantly cheaper and can overclock just as well - there is simply no need to waste money on a 965, especially if you plan to overclock.

Water cooling is not my speciality, i'll let others advise on that. But if you want a simple life, Third part Air CPU, graphics and chipset coolers are very good these days - giving almost water cooled levels of cooling, but with far less hassle. However, if you want ultimate cooling - water is the way to go.

If you want a nice monitor- this one is brilliant (why not two). With that budget you could even go for one of these.

In terms of graphics cards - you would be best not spending massive amounts of money on them right now - as the new ones are expected in September/October. They will use direct X 11, 40nm process and look like they will blaze past the gtx 295 in terms of performance. If you got one of these cards not (or even this) - there is more than enough performance to play all current games at full settings. Your cousin can just sell it when the new cards come out later in the year.

Furthermore - if you want to make things easy - this bundle should set you up for the core of the system (Mobo, RAM, CPU). Get this PSU, should handle 2x295s or the like.

As for the case, its really personal taste. I'd recommend the coolermaster HAF 932 (if he likes the look of it) or the Antec 1200.

For storage, use one of these as your boot disk (add a second in RAID 0 if you want). Then for putting all the other stuff - a few of these would do nicely.

Finally, for the optical drive. I'm not sure if you're cousin want to burn blu rays. If he does, get this. If he just plans to watch blu ray films get this, and if he doesn't care about blu-ray get this.

If you do what I describe above - your cousin will have one of the most kick-ass rigs available today. It is considerably under budget - but there is not much that can be upgraded to yield better performance - so don't bother (except overclocking the hell out of, obviously). You may as well spend the money saved on future upgrades (DX 11 graphics) or put it in the bank (lol).

Thanks mate my cousin said what will the new cards be called and how much will it cost for 2 ???? also he said that will they be nvidia or Ati
