The all encompassing BNP thread - keep all crap in here.

Why in goodness's name does one single immigrant get given social housing?

Immigrants should go right to the back of the queue. While there is one single British person on the housing list, no immigrant should get social housing.

It really is time we started looking after our own people first.

The day "our own" stopped trying to treat social housing as a woolworths pick and mix than perhaps they wont feel hard done. The only ones who moan about immigrnats getting better housing - which is a fallacy are the ones who want a 3 bed semi in a very desiabale location. I have worked in social housing and the only immigrants that were houses were the ones who were prepapred to take the most grotty properties in the most undesirable locations.

Ok, I'm going to stop bumping this thread now. There are, unless I've lost count, less than 10 posters in this thread who believe the BNP have any credibility. And we're close to 3,000 posts.

I'm sure you can do the maths.

edit : ffs, I forgot the dd (TM) smiley : :)

10 posters out of 9000 odd is a very small %, why then do people still stupidly label this forum as having major BNP undertones?
Is the voice of the BNP supporters really that much louder than others?

I think they label this forum as having "bnp undertones" becuase of the forums logo :p

It probably harks back to the days of VIRII and cleanbluesky etc. when there were 5 new Muslim threads in GD every day. Also Spie was anti-immigration as I recall which upset some people (not that I care).

So it's down to people not really understanding their points of view and assuming the majority held that point of view then?

He also started a thread on here titled "why do all Pakistanis smell?".

OMG!
Do you realise how stupid it is to label a whole community on your perception of one thread?

Where am I labelling a whole community?

I'm just stating a fact that led people to take an opinion of a certain poster.

I remember reading some posts in GD years ago and thinking that well established members, men of honour and staff seemed pretty much consistently prejudiced.

please provide link.

I can't believe you and other supporters are still questioning this. It's not something up for debate. It's in their constitution.

Ignore the fact that they deny it, that's a ploy for the media. Read it for yourself, but please stop denying that they don't discriminate against non-whites.

/awaits the usual response

Out of 756 votes, 10.19% voted for the BNP. That is quite some... http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18009497&highlight=vote

Indeed ("Why do Pakistanis smell?").

Probably, I suppose at a casual glance it might have been easy to view the forums as being right wing if you looked only at the topics started during the time period that cleanbluesky and VIRII were most active - there was a period where it looked like every third thread was related to Muslims or immigration although of course the majority of those threads were started by a very small cadre of members.

In reality I think we've got quite a fair mix of different viewpoints across the political spectrum but for obvious reasons the more moderate members won't always be as noticeable.

I asked why people label this forum not any poster in particular.
Sorry if my clearly posted and simple question was too cryptic.
