What do you regret buying?

I got a Wii as well. Sold it in a high street exchange store 1 week later for more than I paid so I was happy. (This was when they were hard to get)

A £300 A3 printer I barely used. Left it unused for a year in the loft and now it doesn't print in colour.

SPORE, RA3. Hardly played them because they're so bad.

Suscribed to a monthly magazine to build a RC Plane which probably cost around £200+ altogether. Never finished building it.

Funniest one was when I was 13/14. I saved about £7 pocket money to buy a Yo-yo during the craze. Went to the corner shop and bought one of the under-the-counter specials. As I walked home I broke it so I hidden it in my room when I got back so my Mum wouldn't find it.

An endowment policy. I would have been better off putting the money in a carrier bag in my wardrobe.

More embarrassingly, I bought a Geforce FX5200. I have no idea why.

A minidisc player/recorder when they first launched in the UK - cost me a relative fortune considering I was in my teens at the time.

Macbook - just didn't use it and ended up selling it 2 months later

Mini Cooper S - loved it but we emigrated to NZ 18 months later and I lost about £8k :(

Various xmas presents for an ex who was already cheating on me at the time

2nd engagement ring for my fiancee, she lost the first one only to find it 2 months after we bought the replacement. (she's worth it but that money could have bought me a new mountain bike!)

PS3, XBox360, Logitech G25 - Dont use enough to justify owning them.

Nitro RC truck+upgrades (about £1500altogether) - really enjoyed building and customising, never really enjoyed playing with it... Sat in a box getting dusty

Blata Minimoto - On my first ride I drifted it around a corner, almost **** myself and sold it to a workmate for £50.

Breitling Hercules - Not very accurate, gained 3seconds/minute... making it quite useless as a timepiece... returned it for a full refund after a few weeks of arguements with store.

My Canon camera gear - Spent ~£10k on professional camera gear. And imo, in the 4 years ive been using it ive taken 0 decent photos, i know the gear doesnt make the photo and its 100% the photographer, and it goes to show im not a good enough photographer to warranty having such good equipment... Ive sold most off and after the British Grand Prix in a couple of weeks time i will finally sell the last bits of kit off, replacing it all with something more suitable for my needs. :)

XBOX 360
Nintendo Wii
Wii Fit
Various single player PC games (I prefer multiplayer, one of the main problems with XBOX 360 / Nintendo Wii aswell)
7" Screen for PC. (Ideas I had for it haven't panned out)

That's pretty much it, anything else I'm happy with.

Wii
PSP

What's even worse for me is that I don't learn - sold them first time round (the Wii fetched a very nice profit in that 1st Christmas rush) but then went and bought them again "ooo this game will be great on it, will definitely play them now!"
Wii gets an occasional blast when mates come round or for a bit of Wii Sports, PSP has CFW loaded on it, but don't touch it now I have an iPhone.

I'm such a sucker for gadgets :(

When I was a kid I saved my pocket money and bought the legendary Big Foot toy car from Argos. watching the advert it looked like nothing could stop it. It drove through water and across fallen trees (twigs) and it looked about the size a of house. I thought to myself my life would be so much better with it I had it.. so I saved and saved and when I got it I was so disappointed I cried and my mum had a go at me.

It look about 25 AA batteries which lasted about five minutes. It could barely drive across the carpet in the front room. I am still scared to this day...

Dam those coprate giants and their false advertising

As mentioned a few times times now
Nintendo Wii - Bought it, played it thinking this is the coolest thing in the world. 1 month later I was completely bored with it and it never got used.
I recently traded it in for some ps3 and xbox games.

Also I bought an stupidly expensive Alienware laptop...... worse impulse buy in the world. I thought hey its green that is sooooo damm cool I must have one.......
