No, you've created an AA2 account. You'll have to create another account on release. You can reserve a username with the pre-register though: http://login.americasarmy.com/aa3_account_preregister

Every squad can have a medic, so that's up to 4 medics per team, and they have 3 medic packs each.
 
Well my username is already taken :(

I still dont see why some games insist of not letting anyone have duplicate names ingame, and having a unique account name to maintain stats.

When you make an account that is what you log into the game with, you can then have upto 3 different soldier names. so you might be able to use the same name as someone else.

Thanks for the heads up. I still play 2.8.5 atm; it's good but getting a tad boring. Will see what 3.0 has in store. I also didn't realise they were releasing it anytime soon.
 
Ye, thanks for the heads up on the beta. I preloaded this yesterday on Steam, but I'm too impatient to wait until release so will give the beta a go!

I remember playing the original on release many years ago. Took me days to download with my 56k modem. Didn't help that my Internet connection would time out every two hours as well! :p

I remember those days well. It played pretty well on 56k considering all the servers were state side.
 
i played this many moons ago first version i think,think i will get this then.just installing that steam account thingy and should be good to go roll on

whats the graphics like now then?

surely there not going to be top wack graphics with it being free in all,do ya have to do all that silly training as well before you even get to the game?
