Hey there

I have a logitech mouse, that I place in a charger when not in use for the rechargeable batteries to charge...trouble is it doesnt want to charge anymore...

Whats knackered? The batteries or the charger?

Please advise

Cheers

How old is the mouse, can you RMA it back to Logitech.

Only thing I can suggest is double check all connectors and clean mouse contacts, it maybe the case the charger is u/s.

Have you got any spare rechargable AA's of the same spec (i'm guessing that's what it takes)? If so chuck them in and see if it charges. If it's not a connection problem it's usually the batteries.

RJC, i've got to ask, as i can't work it out - what is that a pictuire of in your sig? (it looks a bit like part of a hadron collider - but stretched)

I've rtm'd 5 logitech bluetooth keyboards in my time. I gave up with them. And they are dog aweful with vista. (personal experience) I only had one good keyboard which eventually died.

I just want a wireless keyboard that can turn usb keyboard when it needs charging. :(

Nope :p it's a water cooled chiller (approx 2 mw :D)

Why not just get a non bluetooth wireless keyboard?

I've always had Logitech wireless keyboards and never ever had a problem since owning them in any OS.

You've not considered the 'hadron collider' approach to cooling then? :D

It only costs a £2bn odd pounds but its one draw back is that it has slight leaking issues...

tried diff branded batteries and no joy :( They are logitech batteries so not sure if its worth purchasing some for it to fail..

have even tried cleaning the contacts though...

connectors are fine

its nearly 3 years old i doubt I can RMA it

any further ideas?
