Ok so Micro Atx is a must with the Silverstone TJ08 case (unless anyone knows of a smaller micro atx case, space is an issue). Uses are nothing extreme, simply web browsing, music, spreadsheets etc. and light gaming.
Was looking at maybe the phenom II 550 but unsure as to what mATX mobo to pair with it.

Edit: seen ocuk dont sell tj08 so if anyone can recommend a smaller or same size mATX case that'd be great, or i can get one for around £75 elsewhere so take that off the £400 build please.

Its very useful thank you, i read that with that mobo you need to do a bios update for it to work with the new phenom II's, im pretty new to all this but very eager to learn, i was wondering how is it possible to update the bios if the phenom II i buy wont work with it until i do so?
I was also looking at the Lian Li PC-A05NB case which is also rather small but supports full ATX mobo's, i was wondering if this would be a better route to take?
Gah theres so much choice :confused: At least theres experts here to help.
 
Could go even smaller with a mini itx build if your not doing that much gaming :D
