- Ketchup is hard to get to exit the tub if it's fresh out the fridge
- Ketchup is not stored in fridges at the supermarket
- Ketchup from the fridge will cool your chips and edibles faster than ketchup stored normally, considering ketchup is mostly used on hot foods, cold hot foot is not what you'd want!

This, plus I'm not letting a damn label tell me what to do!

cupboard, it's too cold otherwise :p

also, Heinz ketchup is crap, always watery.. Tesco or Sainsburies own ketchup is far cheaper, not watery and just as nice IMO

Never found heinz watery, use the squeezy bottles and has always been fine for me. Always found the own brand stuff not quite as tasty though!

Cupboard, goes to gloopy in the fridge and tastes different.... I tend to ignore the "Use in 6 weeks" notice also, although in most cases it does get used much faster than that, if not it still stays fresh.

Jcb33.

I'm a weirdo who won't even have 'monkey blood' in the house! And as for that American crap that is salad cream in disguise, even the other half won't eat mayonnaise. :p
