Best team in the history of sports

When a sports only played against teams in their own country, and there is no fear of relegation. It's hardly fair to say that team is the best in the history of sports, to be the best, you have to compete against your peers, peers that play the sport all over the world.

The Bulls didn't do that.

Are you serious? They cream the Bulls.

The Bulls of today yeh probably...the Bulls of Jordan and co...not a chance in hell...Jordan and co when they were winning 6 straight titles would have creamed the Globetrotters off the face of the court.

Mind you if your talking about Basketball then the Celtics would be the best with 18 championships i think then the Lakers at 15 and then the Bulls at 6 titles.

Saying that you cant really compare basketball to football etc...2 different sports altogether.

Ermmm perhaps all of the world's best players play in the nba and no other countries or teams can compete. Just look at the olympics. Its just like the premier league. No other leagues come close so the premiership is basically the top division of europe.

The globetrotters are an exhibition team? Thats like saying that korean kick up champion is the best footballer in the world.

When I said the best team in sports history I am talking about that team with that squad at that time. They dominated with that squad. Obvously over the last 100 years the lakers and celtics are the biggest and best franchises.

You're a fool if you think the Bulls were better than the Globetrotters.

There's a reason the Globetrotters are world famous.

The Olympics is about each country, so the Bulls doesn't exist there, that point is moot.

As for comparing the premier league to the NBA.....eh, noooooo, thats why we have the champion's league, to find out who is the best in Europe.

Chicago Bulls - 1 country, 1 league, can't be relegated, or promoted. Good as they were, it is a restricted competition, you can go as far to say they were the best team in the history of NBA (which a lot of people will argue as they haven't won the most championships), but there is no way they are the best team in the history of sports.

Yeah but a Spanish football team is the best team in the world, almost dismissing your entire point ..

Quite Clearly its the Detroit Redwings.

Ice Hockey, Now there is a sport

When it comes to Ice Hockey it would be the Montreal Canadiens, they have won the most championships 24 to be exact.

Detroit just lost the Stanley cup to Pittsburgh Penguins a few days ago:p.

Possibly the Australian cricket team? They have been pretty dominant for a long damn time...

Under Steve Waugh they were awesome, although they didn't win in India. West Indies back in the late 70s/80s were arguably better in some ways
