Yes.

It is iTunes that keeps record of this data too, so you may aswell restore from a backup after "restore"ing to 3.0
 
BY the way another nice thing about 3.0 is that after the upgrade (or after a restore) the phone now remembers all the app icon positions, instead of ordering them alphabetically. That was a real bugbear of mine!

THANK GOD! i always had atleast one icon in the wrong place after being used to it and it always threw me off
 
I hear rumors of it being delayed until the 18th on Twitter. Maybe Apple have found the hole in the baseband and are trying to do a last minute fix, hopefully not.

EDIT: Still 17th, information was incorrect.

I shouldn't think so. This is why the dev team wouldn't release anything intill 3.0 was released, and probably why they wont release the unlock intill they have tried it on thr 3Gs just to double make sure they carnt close the hole

The rumours stemmed from the fact that the Singarpore release is the 18th, due to it being on the other side of the International Date Line.
 
I think I'll be getting this for £35pm/24.. I've not seen any iPhone but I've noticed on the iTouch the internet pages are too small to read. Will this be the same on the iPhone?

Double tapping on text or a picture will zoom the display around that.

Double tap again to zoom back to 100%. You can also pinch to zoom, or un-pinch to zoom out manually.

What the bloody hell is going on? I checked this morning while my mother was shouting 'come on ya gonna be late for work' all to no joy.

Now I'm home and still no update! :mad:
